Track Cycling Pedals are pedals designed for use on a velodrome or outside track, they traditional are flat top and use toe-clips/toe-straps to secure your feet to the pedals however variations from leading pedal manufacturers such as Look, Exustar and Speedplay have adapted Road pedals for use on the track. You do not have to use Track Cycling specific pedals for Track Cycling or Fixed Gear Riding, they are just the most popular option.
