Description
Rotor's new, highly sophisticated crankset technology has a sophisticated design and its clean aesthetics will complement any setup. The Rotor ALDHU Crank Arms are their lightest to date, engineered from CNC'd 7075 aluminium, with the complete set up weighing around 30 grams less than a standard spider and chainring combination. This process drills three full-depth holes from axle to pedal and results in a crankset that is both extremely rigid and has an exceptional stiffness to weight ratio.
In a collaboration between professional cyclists and engineers, a system has been produced that allows you to fine-tune and optimise your pedalling performance according to your biomechanics, for the highest power outputs at the ideal point of your pedal stroke. The Q-Rings can be adjusted in 1-degree increments to find the OCP (Optimum Chainring Position) for enhanced customisation.
Being a modular system, it's easy to replace individual parts as they wear, or when you want to upgrade. An abbreviation of Alpe d'Huez, the ALDHU system was created to be Rotor's most advanced crankset
Modular structure
- OCP (Optimal Chainring Position) Mount technology
- CNC'd 7055 extruded aluminum construction
- BCD: 144x5
- Bottom bracket- Supplied
- Axle width: 30mm
The Rotor ALDHU Track Spider/Track Axle are factory assembled by Rotor, do not separate during installation as this will damage the splines on the Axle.

Installation
You will require the following tools to install this product on your frame
• 8mm Allen Key/Hex Tool Large Allen Key
• Anti-Seize Compound - Weldtite TF2 Lithium Grease or Park Tools ASC-1 - Anti-Seize Compound
• Lubricant - Weldtite TF2 Teflon Grease or Park Tools HPG-1 - High Performance Grease
• Outboard Bottom Bracket Tool Hollowtech-GXP Bottom Bracket Tool
The following video is an excellent video from Park Tools showing the process of installing a Outboard Bottom Brackets and Chainsets on a Road Frame. The processes shown are identical to those used on a Track Frame, with the exception that you will not need a mallet to hammer the chainset into place, so the video is a very useful guide. Park Tools are listed here on our website https://www.velodrome.shop/park-tools/
